RESA Teacher's Meeting
March 9, 17:00-19:00, RESA Building, Athens
IFCO presented the "Spend a Night in the Middle East!" event for Northeast Georgia Regional Educational Service Agency (NEGA RESA). Northeast Georgia RESA is committed to providing effective, cost efficient and economical services to member educational systems and their communities for increasing student progress and achievement. The presentation consisted of the following four mini-seminars, followed by question and answer sessions:

- Islam and Science [download file - PPT]
The presentation focused on the basics of the Islamic belief system, a short history of Islam since its very first days till today, and the contribution of Islamic countries to arts and sciences throughout the history. In addition to these exciting and interesting seminars, teachers participating the event enjoyed a sample of middle eastern dishes, including home-made Turkish baklava!
